Meeting with members of the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan

At the Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Abylay Khan, on May 3, 2024, a meeting was held for master students, undergraduates and teaching staff of the Faculty of International Relations, Law and Business with members of the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yernar Nurlanovich Begaliev and Aidyn Maratovich Nurbekov.

During the meeting on the topic: “How to become a judge in the Republic of Kazakhstan,” Professor E.N. Begaliev. and Nurbekov A.M. spoke about the activities of the judiciary and the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Key positions were demonstrated in presentation material. They focused on the qualification requirements for those wishing to connect their professional activities as a judge and shared their experience in carrying out judicial activities, highlighted the factors that determine both the complexity and the need for judges to know all branches of law and the ability to solve life situations in the administration of justice.

The head of the Department of International Law, of the Faculty of International Relations, Law and Business of the University, Baizhomartova Karlygash Asylzhomartovna drew attention to the role of the faculty in training highly qualified personnel for law and enforcement agencies, reported on the availability of educational programs developed by the Department of International Law, such as Educational Programs 6B04202-“International Law” and  6B04201-“Jurisprudence” » at undergraduate and graduate levels.

The meeting was eventful and interesting, the audience actively asked questions about the activities of the judiciary and the work of the Supreme Judicial Council.
