12 December 2016 the Department of International Law held a regular scientific and practical seminar: "Problems of tax and customs administration". The speaker was doctor of law, Professor Alibekov Saylaubek Tynyshbekovich. The seminar was attended by the teaching staff of the Department of International Law and graduate students.
It was noted that, despite the fact that from 1 January 2015 the Treaty on the Eurasian economic Union entered into force, the draft of a new Customs code of the EAEU is still not finished. Special interest was aroused by issues of improving tax and customs administration, the main directions of current tax regimes and procedures, risk management system, integration of customs and tax systems.
It is very important that due to the workshop proposals for improving tax and customs administration within the Сustoms Union were generated.
