MANSAP: DEVELOPMENT AND PERSPECTIVES FOR STUDENTS

Almaty, 10.10.2023 - KazUIR&WL named after Abylai Khan, held a meeting aimed at preparing graduate students for the requirements of the modern labor market of translators. The organizers of the event were the founders of the platform MANSAP, 3rd year students of the Department of Simultaneous Interpretation, Smagul Asem and Salibai Aruzhan, as well as a teacher and coordinator of student employment department, Chitebayeva Sandugash Zhumagalievna.

The meeting touched upon the issues of student employment after graduation. The founders of the startup MANSAP presented to the 4th year students the platform, which contains necessary information for internships in large national, transnational and international companies, requirements for translators, as well as contacts of potential employers. The format of the talk included a startup presentation and a Q&A session. It was noted that the platform is supported by such entities as the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs ATAMEKEN, Akimat of the city of Almaty and other founders of large companies such as Kolesa Group and others. The founder of MANSAP, Smagul Asem emphasized that the platform is ready to connect students for free and provide information about vacancies and requirements.

The main purpose of the meeting was to prepare graduate students for the requirements of the modern labor market in the field of translation and presentation of our students' startup. S.Zh. Chitebaeva, Employment Coordinator, offered the possibility of cooperation with the MANSAP platform within the framework of the annual Job Fair.

Our Faculty of Translation and Philology wishes creative success and is very proud of its enterprising students, who can systematically approach the solution of pressing issues and help not only themselves, but also their peers! The meeting not only provided students with valuable information about the requirements of the labor market, but also emphasized the importance of interaction between educational institutions and practical tools for the successful integration of students into the professional community.
