On 11th of May 2024, the final XXIII world student competition “Chinese Language Bridge” was held among universities in Almaty. Students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Abylay Khan University of International Relations and World Languages have proven with their successful performances that our university is the leading university in Kazakhstan in training specialists with knowledge of the Chinese language.
Our students became absolute winners and prize-winners of 1,2,3 places: 1st place - Kulmagambetova Aruzhan, educational program “Foreign Philology”; 2nd place - Kyrykbaeva Asel, Taskyn Aiman, educational program: “Translation Studies”; 3rd place - Karikenova Aruzhan, educational program “Translation Studies”. Of particular note is the enormous work of the teachers of the Faculty of Oriental Studies who prepared the winners: senior lecturer of the Department of Oriental Philology Mellat Dillnar; senior teachers of the Department of Translation of Oriental Languages Nurzhaubek Ainur and Ashimbaeva Assem.
All of the above teachers were awarded “Best Leader” diplomas of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Almaty🌷
