Teachers of the Faculty of Oriental Studies took part in the VII International Conference “Uzbekistan – China: development of historical, cultural, scientific and economic ties”

On November 18, 2023, an international scientific and practical conference on the topic “Uzbekistan-China: development of historical, cultural, scientific and economic ties” was held in Tashkent. Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies /TSUOS together with the Uzbek-Chinese Confucius Institute at TSUOS were the organizers of this event. 110 scientists took part in the VII international conference on topical issues of Chinese studies, including 30 representatives of foreign universities and organizations.

In order to strengthen scientific and educational cooperation between KazUIR&WL named after Ablai Khan and TashSUOS the Director of the Confucius Institute at KazUIR&WL named after Ablai Khan, Professor Kalibek Tolkyn, took an active part in the conference, and proFESSOR Shi Lunwei made a presentation. In order to exchange experience, teachers from the Department of Translation of Oriental Languages ​​Sabigazina Saule and Ashimbaeva Asem participated in the conference. The conference participants were awarded certificates.
