  • Interactive Lecture for Students of the Faculty of Translation and Philology

    On December 11, 2025, a lecture on the discipline of "Country Studies" was held at the Faculty of Translation and Philology at Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages for first-year students of the educational program "6B02301 – Translation Studies." The lecture was delivered by Erol Algan, a U.S. citizen who is currently the head of the "Flagmanship" program in Almaty. The topic of the lecture was "American History: Past and Present." The purpose of the lecture was to deepen students' knowledge and develop their country studies competencies.

  • The First Republican Forum of the Student Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan

    On December 8–9, 2025, the city of Kostanay hosted the First Republican Forum of the Student Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. The forum was attended by Aibek Abzhamiyev, Chairman of the Youth Affairs Committee of Ablai Khan KazUIR&WL University. The forum, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, brought together representatives of student organizations, youth leaders, and administrators of educational institutions from various regions of the country. The discussions covered the development of student assemblies, the enhancement of interethnic dialogue, and the support of youth initiatives.

  • Diplomatic Visit of the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ms. Sona Ahmadi, to JSC «Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages»

    On 9 December 2025, a courtesy visit was paid by the newly appointed Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Almaty, Ms. Sona Ahmadi, who had previously served as Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran on Women’s Affairs.

  • Interuniversity training seminar on mediation-based negotiations brought together students from eight leading universities of Kazakhstan

    On December 5, 2025, the Department of International Law organized a training seminar with the participation of the Director of the Regional Public Organization “International Human Rights Center,” internationally recognized mediation trainer, and author of the "Zhas Kelіssөz Sheberlerі" project Jandildy Azhigalievich Zhakupov. The purpose of the seminar was to equip students with technologies and methods of mediative negotiations, develop skills for constructive interaction, strategies for achieving mutually acceptable solutions, and effective conflict resolution.

  • Completion of the Free Course «새만금 한글학당» with the Participation of Students from the Faculty of Oriental Studies

    From September 8 to December 5, 2025, free Korean language courses titled «새만금 한글학당» were conducted at Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages, Faculty of Oriental Studies. The program was implemented with the support of Jeonbuk National University (전북대학교).

  • REGIONAL STUDENT COMPETITION IN THE DISCIPLINE “BUSINESS PLANNING”

    JSC Abylai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages is holding a Regional Student Competition in the discipline “Business Planning” on November 27, 2025, among students of the 041 – Business and Management field of study from higher education institutions across Kazakhstan.

    13 teams are taking part in the competition, including:

    • L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU)
    • Astana International University
    • Shakarim University, Semey
    • as well as representatives of other universities of Kazakhstan.

    Purpose of the competition:

    To develop the scientific-research and innovative potential of university students in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
    The competition aims to promote entrepreneurial thinking, support business initiatives, and create conditions for the implementation of ideas that can influence the social and economic development of the country’s regions.

    Members of the jury include representatives of business structures:

    - Astana Hub — International Technopark of IT Startups

    - Almaty Hub — Regional Center of Digital Technologies under the Digitalization Office of Almaty City

    - MOST Business Incubator — LLP “MOST Business Incubator”, a private organization supporting startups and youth entrepreneurship

    - BRICS Alliance — investor alliance representative: Muktarkanov Timur Gaylollaevich

    - MEAS Group LLP — director, business trainer, accelerator, facilitator: Evgeniya Shefer
